The General Conference is responsible for the strategy, organisation and operation of the CEN Keymark Scheme for thermal insulation products. The General Conference elects the SDG-5 Implementation Group and employs the SDG-5 Scheme Secretariat.
The General conference takes place once a year, normally in the month of March. Place and date to be decided at the previous General Conference. The General Conference is open for participation by all involved parties in the SDG-5 Keymark Scheme and thereby also for liaisons. The following may be present: Manufacturers, Certification Bodies, Inspection Bodies, Testing Laboratories, CCB and

The implementation group and the secretariat propose a person to chair the meeting of the general conference.

In case of severe dispute or problems, an extraordinary General Conference can be called. The conference can be called upon request either by the Scheme Implementation Group or by CCB.
